The students are mentored to develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors and actually launch and run their own real companies and social movements. More and more Indians are trying to encourage Teen Entrepreneurship is evident from programs like YEA(Young Entrepreneurs Academy) where students aged 11-18 are transformed into real, confident entrepreneurs. Structured Development – Nurturing From an early Age I greatly feel that stories like those of Nitesh Verma are inspiring because if a boy from a remote village of Surpura Khurd, Bhiwani, Haryana can do it, SO CAN YOU? This project was founded to know about the importance of life-skills in everyone’s life by taking workshop and seminars. He started receiving acknowledgment and appreciation for his speeches which inspired him to take the next leap -founded a project named ‘Life Learn’ in his 12th grade. He switched boards, went to a CBSE school. He scored a good percentage of 85% in his tenth class – he decided to take charge of his life and he fine-tuned his inner engineering. As he could not express himself clearly he was lonely and led a life without friends. He was constantly plagued by thoughts of people judging him. Nitesh had an internal barrier – he was tongue-tied in front of friends. Nitesh hails from that remote corner of India where more emphasis was given on the outcome than on the journey – here it translated as –It was the job that was important and not the education. The one story which made a deep impact on me was of Nitesh Verma (Founder & C.E.O of Life Learn) from Bhiwani, Haryana. I would like to share with you a few stories where the youth have been game changers. There is no such direction you don’t run to and no such viewpoint you want to withhold hence taking risks is the part of your bloodstream as you have the age factor on your side. By early means very early as 13 years … with this vast life stretching ahead of you.Īs a youngster, you feel that making mistakes means at least you tried and that is what being a Teen Entrepreneur about. This does not mean that I encourage you to be a school or college dropout, it only means that you, the youth have the potential in you to start early. All you have to do is keep cool and let your work to do your talking and not engage in a verbal battle with your dissuaders.Įntrepreneurship is all about idea, innovation, and the innate ability to execute it. There will be people out there who will dissuade you, discourage you, and criticize you. All you have to do is to hold on to that Eureka moment of yours and turn it into something tangible, worthwhile to be sold in the market. You can prove yourselves with your out of box thinking, leadership qualities, and unique execution styles. Your enthusiasm and energy levels are high enough for you to break stereotypes and carve out a niche for yourself. I see YOR (Youth on The Rise) more and more youth are starting early upon entrepreneurship involves risk and the younger you are - your risk taking capacity is at its peak. It is such a pleasure to coach teen entrepreneurs especially from tier two and tier three cities, as their level of passion is unmatched. We, Indians are basically service providers and parents prefer that their children have a decent job which provides economic security but now the mindset is fast changing. When your parents see that you are armed with innovative ideas and diverse skill-sets they definitely will take steps towards to make your dreams a reality. Indian parents are now becoming accepting of the fact that ‘schoolpreneurship’ – can be a lucrative idea and are pushing their children to choose entrepreneurship as a career. India has produced a pool of talent … be it entrepreneurs, investors, or inventors. What sets these Teentrepreneurs apart from the usual? Now, the company has developed more than 100 websites for various institutions and organizations.
